A Day of Peace: Community Rally and Resource Day

Day of Peace for our community with anti-violence campaign. This is a team effort to empower youth and change perspectives by showing the many local opportunities available, and directly connecting with existing resources that meet youth needs.

Coffee for Peace

An evening of peace-filled activities, beginning with a ukulele workshop: learn how to play "Go Now in Peace" on the ukulele with award-winning folk duo. No experience necessary. Participants will play the piece during the duo's concert at 7:00 p.m.

John Dear is a peace activist, Catholic priest, and co-founder of Campaign Nonviolence. This is an interfaith evening for people to join together to make a commitment to nonviolent action for peace in Delaware. Followed by candlelight vigil.

Film: Requiem for the Dead

This film highlights a few of the estimated 8,000 individuals who died from gunfire in spring 2014, drawing exclusively on found media - news accounts, police investigations, and social media -- to shine a light on little-known stories of tragic loss, bringing the victims to life in their own words.
