Find out what efforts are going on to establish sanctuary cities, states, campuses etc., and how you can be involved. Hear from Network Delaware, ACLU of Delaware, and others.

Since the election many activists and groups in Delaware have been doing important work to establish sanctuary cities, campuses and municipalities in the face of threats to the safety and rights of all the people living in our state, especially undocumented residents and their families, who are a vital part of our economy and our society.

This event will inform you of some of the things activists have been working on, and it will also give you a space to connect with others and to voice your concerns, opinions and ideas about what else we can achieve together on this important issue.

In Delaware, many groups and individuals are concerned about federal policies, however we need to better unite our collective efforts. Are you or a group you’re a part of working on supporting our immigrant community? Then come to this action meeting to collaborate with other groups and push forward a plan of action.

Delaware needs to show its support for our immigrant community and resist negative policies that foster fear and confusion.
