This date symbolizes how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year. Wear red today to symbolize how far women and minorities are "in the red" with their pay!
Event activities (no RSVP required):

• 11:00 a.m. -- Informal lunch at Frazier's Restaurant ("Dutch treat") at 9 E. Loockerman St., Dover, DE. Information about the gender wage gap will be presented.
• 1:15 p.m. -- Press conference in the Senate Hearing Room, 2nd Floor, Legislative Hall
• 2:00 p.m. (or whenever the session begins) -- Introduction of a House Concurrent Resolution declaring April 12, 2016 as Equal Pay Day in Delaware.
