As we continue to champion voting rights policy change and advocacy efforts, VoteDelaware.org tackles a different side of the effort to increase participation: voter education.
This afternoon, the House Housing and Community Affairs Committee voted [insert vote tally] to advance Senate Substitute 1 for Senate Bill 101 (SS1 for SB 101) out of committee and onto the floor for a vote by the full House.
We adamantly oppose the SB 149 substitute bill... This bill falls far short of what constituents have asked for – it only provides a mirage of transparency and accountability, which is almost worse than nothing at all.

Davis et. al v. Neal et. al, which originally alleged two egregious attacks by SCI officers when it was filed in December, now alleges a significant increase in the number of attacks — shedding light on a horrific, ongoing pattern and practice of violent abuse against people housed at the facility.
