The ACLU of Delaware will be hosting a press conference on Monday, May 14 to announce our groundbreaking #VoteSmartJustice campaign.
The major goal of this campaign is to motivate voters to elect officials who will commit to reform that will challenge racial bias in the criminal justice system and end mass incarceration in Delaware.
The #VoteSmartJustice campaign will start with a focus on the Attorney General’s race. The Attorney General is one of the most powerful players in Delaware’s criminal justice system, so it’s vital that we elect a reform-minded candidate to that position.
Coalition partners include the ACLU of Delaware, Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, Delaware Center for Justice, Delaware United, Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League and Network Delaware.
