Moral Monday March

December 15, 2014 @ 5:30 pm

Moral Monday is a protest movement in the state of Delaware in response to several legislative actions by the government of Delaware. The protests are characterized by engaging in civil disobedience by entering Legislative Hall and other spaces of power. The Movement marches, protests, and participates in direct action against many wide-ranging issues under the blanket of unfair treatment, discrimination, and adverse effects of government legislation on the citizens of Delaware.

Join the Movement to protest/march Monday, December 15th 2015 at 5:30 pm. The objective of the Movement in general and the protests in particular, in this instance, is to place pressure on policy makers in Delaware whose current law enforcement policies make it possible for the police officers to kill black men with impunity.

You are encouraged to participate in the protests in the following ways:

  1. Personally commit to the March as a Collaborative Call to Morality
  2. Promote the March/Protest to your circle of influence (i.e., social media, pulpit)
  3. Make Signs “Black Lives Matter” “I Cant Breathe” Hands Up Don’t Shoot”
  4. Influence 10 people to come with you to the March
  5. Dress in the attire that is consistent with your particular organization
