Our voter education site, VoteDelaware.org, is back to answer all of your school board election questions.
Showing up to vote in your school board election is one of the best ways to ensure that the needs and concerns of your community are heard and addressed. When we support candidates who are committed to the well-being of our children and schools, we're laying the foundation for a stronger, more prosperous community where everyone can succeed.
That’s why the ACLU of Delaware is excited to relaunch our voter education resource, VoteDelaware.org, ahead of Delaware’s School Board elections on Tuesday, May 14. VoteDelaware.org is a one-stop shop for all your election-related questions including information about ways you can vote, voter assistance, key issue platforms, ways to get involved, and where the candidates running in your district stand on issues you care about.
VoteDelaware.org also features our 2024 school board voter guide, available in both English and Spanish, and downloadable voter information graphics for social media to equip voters with the knowledge to talk to friends, family, and neighbors about why every vote matters in this year’s school board elections. Just one conversation can begin to mobilize an entire community.
Whether you have kids in school now or not, the decisions made by school boards resonate beyond classrooms; they shape the foundation of civil liberties and equal opportunities for every Delawarean. By casting your ballot as an informed voter, you hold the power to shape your community.
With School board elections just one month away, there’s no better time to visit VoteDelaware.org to make your plan to vote on Tuesday, May 14.
