Paper Prisons: Understanding Record Clearance in Delaware

January 12, 2022 @ 5:30 pm 6:30 pm

As of January 1, 2022, more than 290,000 people are eligible to clear their records through Delaware’s mandatory expungement process. Unfortunately, eligibility for expungement doesn’t always mean access to expungement. But attorneys in Delaware can help bridge that gap.

Join Eliza Hirst, Esq., CWLS, Delaware Office of Defense Services, and ACLU of Delaware’s Clean Slate DE Campaign Manager, John Reynolds, to learn more about Delaware’s mandatory expungement law and the recently passed laws that expand expungement eligibility and access.

Participating in this CLE program will prepare you to assist the ongoing efforts across the state to help people access their second chance.
