Due to COVID-19 precautions, the ACLU of Delaware office is closed effective Monday, March 16, 2020 until it is safe for the office to reopen.
During this time, all ACLU-DE staff will be teleworking and all operations will remain unhindered. You can continue to contact staff at 302-654-5326, or through the email forms listed on each staff member’s page here. We have full access to our email and phone lines, and will respond as quickly as we can.
“This isn't about one person or one party. It's not about taking sides. It's about all of us, coming together to create a more perfect union.”—Anthony Romero, Executive Director, ACLU
Even in a public health emergency, the government must make every effort to protect the rights of people experiencing illness or at risk of illness. The ACLU is watching closely to make sure that the government's response is scientifically justified and no more intrusive on civil liberties than absolutely necessary.
If you believe your rights have been violated and would like to receive our help, please fill out our online complaint form by clicking here.
We know that these are unprecedented times filled with a lot of uncertainty. Whatever comes next, we find clarity in our purpose: beyond one person, party, or side, we the people dare to create a more perfect union.
We need your support now, more than ever before, to ensure civil rights and liberties are protected during this time. Please consider making a donation to ACLU-DE, and no matter what, know this: we’re still here.
