A recently released independent assessment of Delaware public school funding, conducted as part of a 2020 settlement between the State of Delaware and Delawareans for Educational Opportunity and the NAACP Delaware State Conference, has been a key step towards addressing inequities in our state's public education system.
Join us on Monday, March 4 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Stubbs Early Education Center (Elementary Library) in Wilmington for a crucial conversation breaking down the assessment findings and discussing the funding solutions needed to ensure Delaware students receive a quality public education.
As policymakers move forward with this new assessment in hand, we need your help achieving our goal: getting our state and counties to do what they must to ensure that all students will have a meaningful opportunity to receive an equitable education, regardless of their geographic location, language, income, or ability status.
