Students in the SEFA program (grades 4-7) are engaged in after-school personal development and service activities that support and strengthen core academic skills like literature and math, while inspiring self-confidence, efficacy and civic engagement. Teams of SEFA students use a multitude of interrelated skills (reading, writing, research, data collection, data analysis, critical thinking, and public speaking) to identify, plan, and take actions that address community and social justice issues about which they are passionate.
