Richard Raw Productions LLC Presents Black Arts Movement: Art, Social Activism, and Revolution

In partnership with Richard Raw Productions LLC, this ground breaking symposium will feature a conversation with scholars, artists, and social activists. They will discuss the Black Arts Movement and the Delaware art scene. Participants will walk away with action-based ways to fuel a social renaissance in their community.

  • James Wyatt, local visual artist
  • Deverick Murray, social activist and poet from Baltimore, MD, current MA studies focused on the Black Arts Movement
  • Brooklynn Hitchens, studying for PhD in Sociology at Rutgers University with a focus on Wilmington residents
  • Colette Gaiter, Associate Professor at University of Delaware, Art and Visual Communications
