This June will mark two years since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. We're in the middle of a nationwide crisis and Delaware has the opportunity to enhance abortion protection and ensure abortion services are accessible for all who need it.
Join us and Women's March Sussex on Thursday, April 11 from 6 - 7:30 p.m., at the Lewes Public Library to learn more about the state of reproductive rights in Delaware, ways to take action, and HS 1 for HB 110, legislation to ensure that people on Medicaid, private, and state insurance plans can access abortion care without financial burden.
Seating is limited. Registration is required.
Speakers include:
- State Senator Kyle Evans Gay, Senate District 6
- Andrew Bernstein, ACLU of Delaware Cozen Voting Rights Fellow
- Vonderlear Smack, ACLU of Delaware Campaign Manager
There will be a Q&A session, light refreshments, and a conversation to follow.
Take Action
We need you to send a message to lawmakers urging them to support and fund HS 1 for HB 110 NOW.
By supporting HS 1 for HB 110, Delaware lawmakers are ensuring that every person — regardless of their insurance provider or ability to obtain insurance — has the ability to make their own choices about their bodies and futures.
