October New Castle County Smart Justice Chapter Meeting - Volunteers Needed!

October 7, 2019 @ 6:30 pm 7:30 pm

Are you tired of ignoring or tolerating racially-fuelled mass incarceration in our own backyards?

Do you have a passion to see new and effective re-entry programs for citizens exiting the criminal justice system?

Do you simply agree that the criminal justice system is broken, and want to learn more about how to get involved and become an agent of change?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above, join a group of like-minded people meeting the first Monday of every month from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Appoquinimink Community Library in Middletown, DE. We’ll network, collaborate, and educate fellow community members about current legislation in our state that directly affects Delaware citizens.

Our core group of 20 members is looking for volunteers to help us reform the criminal justice system. For more information, contact Emily Evans, the chapter president at: [email protected]. Or simply show up at our next meeting. Meetings will be held at the same location and time on the first Monday of each month.
