Mobilizing Delaware Voters

October 24, 2024 @ 7:00 pm

Peace Week Delaware brings together community organizations and people for an annual week of free nonpartisan events to promote harmony, equity and justice in our community. Each organization promotes peace in the way that best fits its mission.

Join the Every Vote Counts campaign during Peace Week Delaware's event, Mobilizing Delaware Voters, on Thursday, October 24 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew (SsAM) in Wilmington!

In the final weeks before the 2024 November elections, it is more important than ever for Delaware voters to tune-in to current information.

Panelists include:

  • Tiffany Lydon, President, League of Women Voters Delaware, will address how to handle pre-election misinformation and disinformation and highlight the Vote411 resource for Delaware voter registration and candidate information.
  • Andrew Bernstein, Cozen Voting Rights Fellow, ACLU Delaware, will provide an update on voting rights in Delaware and status of the Every Vote Counts Campaign which seeks to expand access to the ballot for all voters.
  • Cecelia Hobbs, one of the Poor People's Campaign-DE Tri-Chairs, will talk about the Poor People’s Campaign 17-point agenda and the importance of getting poor-low wage, infrequent voters to the polls.
