The ultimate power in our democracy lies with the people, not with any single elected official.
As we continue our work to build Delaware's Firewall for Freedom, we need your help holding our state's leaders accountable for promises to protect and expand civil liberties for all Delawareans, and ensuring they remain committed to the values they pledged to fight for.
Join us for “Bird-Dogging 101,” an interactive training where you will learn how to engage elected officials, ask the tough questions and push for real answers. Bird-dogging is a powerful tactic used to hold elected officials accountable by showing up at public events, asking direct questions, and keeping the focus on the issues that matter the most.
[NOTE: By signing up for this training, you are agreeing to be a part of your county's bird dogging team and will be contacted about opportunities near you.]
This training will cover:
- What bird-dogging is and why it works;
- How to prepare for events and craft impactful questions;
- Tips for staying calm, confident, and persistent; and
- Ways to work as alongside your fellow Delawareans to maximize impact.
