Donna began at ACLU as a Contractual Paralegal, and was hired permanently in July, 2023. Her professional background of 35 years in different areas of law includes, bankruptcy, personal injury, mergers & acquisitions and domestic relations. Early in her career, Donna worked at DC33 Legal Services Plan as a legal assistant, gaining valuable experience serving the legal needs of city employees. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies, which allows her the opportunity to use her skills and experience and apply it to working at the ACLU.
Donna is very excited to roll up her sleeves and assist in justice for the unjust. She feels it is no secret that there are people all around us that have a knee on their neck, and she is thankful to be part of a team that exerts every effort to relieve that pressure.
Realizing the importance of volunteering, Donna has held positions of PTA secretary, treasurer and event planner for a youth football team. She has made helping others part of her norm. Her motivations are God, family and completing projects! She also enjoys traveling, cooking and learning new dishes and spices.
