Branden Fletcher is a dedicated community organizer and advocate committed to advancing democracy and protecting voting rights. As the Voting Rights Organizer for the ACLU of Delaware, he leads efforts to expand access to the ballot, mobilize communities, and dismantle the systemic barriers to voting.

Branden’s advocacy stems from lived experience and years of housing justice organizing. As an Organizing Fellow with Network Delaware, he strengthened grassroots leadership, built self-sufficient teams, and developed strategic campaigns for systemic change, focusing on capacity-building, communications, and resource generation.

Previously, Branden played a key role in the Delaware Eviction Defense Project, which successfully advocated for the right to legal representation for low-income renters. As a leader with the HOMES Campaign, he worked to empower tenants and push for policies that create more just and equitable housing systems.

A former Americorps Public Ally, Branden has dedicated his career to grassroots organizing, coalition building, and civic engagement. In his role with the ACLU, he focuses on voter education, outreach, and advocacy to ensure that all Delawareans—especially historically marginalized communities—have a voice in the democratic process.

Branden lives and organizes in Wilmington. When he’s not fighting for voting rights and social justice, he enjoys exploring new cuisines, listening to Afrobeats, and staying engaged with local advocacy efforts.
