Who is Dr. Tony Campolo?

Dr. Campolo, a leader in the Red Letter Christian evangelical movement has taken a distinctive stance against the death penalty and instead promotes repentance, restitution, reconciliation, and restoration as a response to crime.

He is a sociologist and founder of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education, as well as an associate pastor at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Philadelphia. He is the author of 39 books and is a media commentator on religious, social and political issues.
